Round 5 Inauguration

5th round of the World Junior Chess Championships 2014 on 09th Oct 2014 was inaugurated by Ashwin Trimal, a member of Lakshya Sports Foundation, and owner of Trumasters team at the Maharashtra Chess League, assisted by Shekhar Naniwadekar, a respected Chartered Accountant and a big chess lover of Pune. The ceremonial first move was made on the first board game between GM Cori Jorge (Peru) and GM Wei Yi (China) in the Open section.

Inauguration at the Girls section was done by GM Farrukh Amonatov of Tajikistan, who is in Pune as a second of the Russian Team, at the top board game between WGM Khademalsharieh Sarasadat (Iran) and WGM Padmini Rout (India).
